Karl Embacher Jr

Karl Embacher Jr., 65, of Marysville, Wash., passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Jan. 16, 1942, in New Orleans, La., to Karl and Melba (Develle) Embacher.
Karl was raised in New Orleans where he graduated From High School and attended Louisiana State University.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was hired by Boeing in New Orleans and transferred to the Seattle area in 1966. Karl retired from Boeing in 1999, after 33 years of service.
He loved his family, family get togethers and to cook especially Cajun and Creole dishes. He enjoyed fishing and sailing and was a member of the Marysville gun club where he enjoyed shooting and reloading shells.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by wife, Camellia, of Marysville, Wash.; daughter, Djer Embacher (Brian Stivers), of Marysville; step-daughter, Mindy (Ben) Staudinger, of Everett, Wash.; grandchildren, Gabriel and Nathaniel Staudinger, of Everett; sister, Karen Surbeck, of New Orleans, nieces, Nicole (Kirk) Buuck, Kimberly (Chris) Montz, Stephanie (Brian) Colletti and their families, of New Orleans; in-laws, Rachel McNett, Barry (JoAnn) McNett, of North Dakota, Brad (Sandy) McNett, Tracy (Grant) Smith, of Marysville and their families.
A service of Remembrance was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 7215 51st Ave. N.E., Marysville.
His ashes will be scattered at Oak Alley in Louisiana.
Arrangements are by Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville.
