Leo Speck

Leo was born in Deer Lodge, Montana to Isidore and Marie Speck. He went to Powel County High School. Leo enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and is a World War II Veteran. Retired from Consolidated Freightways after 37 years of service.

He and Eileen were residence of New York Senior Estates for 13 years until July 2009. He was married to Eileen Long/Speck 54 years until her death 11 years to the day of Leo’s death. He was preceded in death by, their son Gregory, his parents and his foster brother Bob White.

He is survived by his daughter Linda Speck/Knight. Three grandchildren Brandy, Kimberley, and Jason. Five great-grandchildren Nicholaus, Skyler and Jason Leo, Peyton and Jacob.

He is also survived by three sisters Patricia Speck/Tomulty, Dorothy Speck/Rebar, Darlene Speck/Rubia.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at Gleenwood Mobile Estates in Marysville, WA Sunday, November 28th, 2010. He will be greatly missed.
