Rev. Levi A. Larson, 100, went to be with his Lord on Sept. 5, 2007.
Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Esther, in 2005, he leaves behind four children, Judi, Dale, David and Brenda and 10 grandchildren.
He retired from full-time ministry in 1978, but continued active ministry including conducting a weekly Bible study up until this June. Known for messages of positive encouragement and a focus on faith, he will be sorely missed.
A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m., at Marysville First Assembly, his last pastorate, 4705 Grove St, Marysville, Wash.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Marysville First Assembly building fund for the Levi and Esther Larson Memorial Chapel (www.marysvillefirst.org), Quest Ministries International (www.questministriesinternational.org), an international childrens ministry, or a worthy charity of choice.
