Marcella Marcy Darlene Christensen, 72, passed away Nov. 23, 2007, in Arlington, Wash.
She was born to Gustau and Emma Hanson February 20, 1935 in Esmond, S.D.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, David Christensen; and son, Jay.
She is survived by her daughters, Jody Rossow, of Glennwood, Wis., and Mary Stensrude, of Arlington, Wash.; sons, Randy Helland, of Florida, and Ricky St. Martin, of Marysville, Wash.; and sister, Gladys Zellar, of Arlington, S.D.
Marcy loved spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.
We were all blessed to be touched by a loving and caring person who will be greatly missed. Marcy collected angels. Anyone who has ever been to her home knows that. Mom, every time we see an angel or hear a bell ring we will be thinking of you. You are with the Angels now. We miss you so much but we know you are in a better place. We know how much you missed your Davey and now you are with him for eternity. You will always be in our hearts. As Steffy would say you are the bomb! We love you.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Weller Funeral Home, Arlington, Wash. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, Arlington, Wash.
