Mark L. Wicken, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Jan. 29, 2007.
He was born May 25, 1953, in Arlington, Wash., to Dale and Jean Wicken.
Mark was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and friend.
Mark graduated from Darrington High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mark was a graduate from Arizona State University beginning his career as a CPA.
Mark was married 34 years and is survived by his wife, Jerrie; cherished daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Brendan Yeager; and his precious grandsons, Lohgan and Weylan. He is also survived by his parents, Dale and Jean Wicken, of Marysville, Wash.; brother Scott (Pam) Wicken; and sisters, Donna Westom and Gail (Warren) Verdun.
A memorial dinner is planned for early summer.
A memorial fund has been set up to honor Marks love of baseball. The fund will be used to purchase facility equipment for the newly built White Horse Community Park in Darrington. Memorials in Marks name can be sent to: Town of Darrington, PO Box 397, Darrington, WA 98241.
