Merla Mae Landa

Merla Mae Landa, born May 21, 1933, in St. Joe, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Nov. 23, 2006.
She was a stay-at-home mom most of here life, devoting her love and time to her three daughters and husband of 53 years. She was a wonderful lady that made an impact on a lot of lives. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with loved ones and most of all shopping. She also loved to meet new people and everyone became family to her.
Her daughters remember her as being a loving mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a caring woman who always lived life to the fullest. Also as a woman who could never get enough hugs.
She is survived by her three daughters Debi Huff, Shelly (Gary) Brown and Tammy (Bill) Davis; grandchildren, Renee Fowler, Elaina Landa, Mike Landa, Will Davis, Taira Landa, Carla Davis and Nathan Davis; six great grandchildren; a sister and brother; numerous other relatives; and also her best friend, whom she referred to as a sister, Geri Heidt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and granddaughter, Christina Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Word of Life Church, 9028 51st Ave. NE, Marysville, Wash.
