Mike grew up in Snohomish, raised by Jim and Norma Hetland. He and his wife moved to Arlington in 1981 and raised their children there.

Mike worked at Scott Paper, aka Kimberly-Clark for 35 years. He was a loving father, a friend you could count on and someone who raised our spirits.

Mike leaves behind his wife, Barb, children Rachael 30, Ken 25 and Beckers 25. Brother and sister, Joel and Christine. Best bud Bob, faithful dog Dolly and a loving network of family and friends. He will be missed and loved forever by those that knew him.
