Patricia Ann Cofield, 68, of Arlington, Wash., passed away peacefully at home with family and friends on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007.
She was born May 12, 1938 in Taylor, Texas to Dennis Clay Fox and Lillian Beatrice Dodge. Her mother later remarried and Patricia was adopted by Herrell E. Little of Boise.
Patricia attended Boise High School and graduated with the class of 1956. She married Richard Frances McGee. They moved to Oklahoma City, Okla. where they lived from June 1965 to March 1967. She and her son returned to Boise following the passing of her husband.
Patricia married Dewey Howard Cofield of Emmett on July 7, 1969 and gained stepdaughters Teri and Toni. They lived in Boise until their retirement when they moved to their home over-looking the Payette River and the Montour Valley. She continued to live there after Deweys death in December 1995 until May of 1999 when she moved to Arlington.
She will be remembered for her love of gardening and literature. But most of all for her compassion and generosity toward others,
Patricia is survived by her father; Herrell Little of Arlington, a son, Richard McGee of Merced, Calif., and stepdaughters; Teri Goodwin and Toni Graham both of Boise.
Her wishes were to be cremated and returned to Boise. An informal memorial will be held in May.
Memorial gifts may be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County, www.providence.org/phhc.
