Patricia Anne Saad

Patricia Anne Saad, 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Stanwood, Wash., on Sept. 3, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Patti was born Jan. 30, 1948, in Norfolk, Va. She graduated from Meadowdale High School, in Lynnwood, Wash.
Patti was a real estate appraiser for 20 years and owned Bailey-Saad Appraisal Service in Stanwood, Wash. She enjoyed skiing and in her youth was a passionate softball player. A long-time horsewoman, Patti was very involved in 4-H when her daughters were young.
Later in life, she and her family actively participated in horse gaming. Patti was well-known for her love of family, her competitive spirit, her sense of humor, her dogged work ethic and, of course, her dachshunds, Daisey Mae and Dusty Rose. She passionately loved life and touched the hearts of many in the course of hers.
Patti is survived by her devoted husband, George; her daughters, Cyndie Bailey and Kari (Doug) Boe; and son, Jessie Saad, all of Stanwood; son-in-law, Bill (Rose) Shaw; grandchildren, Maggie, William, Grace and Isaac Shaw, of San Juan Island, Wash.; sister, Barbara Feaster, of Collinsville, Texas; brother, Rick (Cheryl) Swearingen, of Goldendale, Wash.; sister-in-laws, Joanne (Marty) Boschee, Karen (Paul) Peterson and Shirley (Brian) Kimball; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Pattis life will be held at noon, on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the Monroe Fairgrounds main arena.
Much gratitude goes out to all the friends and family members who generously gave of themselves these past few months, and to all of those who participated in the barrel-racing benefit held at the Stanwood Fair Grounds in her honor.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Jiang, his staff, Paster Paul Jerome and Diane of Hospice for their kindness and care of Patti during her journey to her Lord.
Donations may be made in Pattis name to the Snohomish County Hospice at Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash.
