Patricia Pruitt

March 4, 1931 - April 14, 2018

Pat, 87 entered heaven on April 14, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Wenatchee, Washington. She died from leukemia.

She was born on March 4, 1931 in Leavenworth, Washington. Her father worked for the railroad, and they moved many times. Pat was the youngest of three sisters. She attended Everett High School, class of 1948. She worked for the City of Marysville for many years as the City Clerk.

She never met a stranger. No matter where she was, she would strike up a conversation with anyone who would lend an ear. Her laugh was infectious and put a smile on everyone’s face who was around her. At family gatherings, we would always end the celebration with a spirited game of Hearts. Being around family was what she loved the most.

She is survived by her four children, Blake Gregory (Kathy), Carol Trinidad, John Gregory, (Diane) and Lynne Gregory. She is also survived by her two sisters, Betty Ford and June Grant. She leaves eight grandchildren, Rachael, Trisha, Jonathan, Akiko, Jessica, Amanda, Kodie and Bryan, and seven great grandchildren.

Her husband, Ed Pruitt, preceded her in death.

A memorial will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church in Wenatchee, Washington on Crawford Street. Pastor David Hunter will officiate.

Arrangements assisted by Chapel of the Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wenatchee Valley Hospital Hospice program.
