Ray E. Sullivan

Ray E. Sullivan, 93, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on December 13th 2010. Ray was born December 24,1916 in Everett, WA, to Edward Sullivan and Cherie Sullivan where he graduated from Immaculate Conception School in Everett in 1931 and Everett Senior High School in 1935. He played 3 years of sports 1933,1934, and 1935, including Baseball, Football, and Basketball for Everett Senior High School. He was senior class president in 1935.

He then went on to Western Washington University where he met his wife Doris June Duvall. They were married June 7,1937 in Marysville where they had all four of thier children before moving to Renton, WA. in 1955 where they raised their family and retired. In 1996 they moved back to Marysville to spend their final years.

Ray worked for Pacific Car and Foundry in Everett and Renton for 39 years and retired in 1980. He was also a lifetime member of the Everett Elks Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 1/2 years Doris Sullivan, Parents and a brother. He is survived by Sister-in-law June Duvall, daughters Sharon and Bob Hild, RaeAnn and Henry Pedack, JoAnn and Bill Pelham, son Patrick and Deanna Sullivan, grandchildren Sally, Ed, Steven, Mick, Brian, Michelle, Nicol, and Josh, and great grandchildren Jami, Julie, Shea, Chloe, Nicholas, and Nathan.

Ray passed surrounded by family at his home. The family would like to thank the Group Health Hospice team and Bill and Sherrie Schoentrup for all their support. Internment will take place at Everegreen Cemetery. There will be no service at his request.
