Raymond Malmstead of Marysville, passed away Sept. 30, 2006, following a long illness. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend.
He leaves his beloved wife of 42 years, Theresa. Alec was a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War. A talented artist, Alec loved to draw, creating amazing landscapes from his minds eye. He worked at Scott Paper Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Alec loved following his favorite sports team, the Mariners.
He is survived by seven children; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He will be missed by all those he touched. The family will have a private ceremony.
