To My Family and Friends
Ive gone now, I thought the time was right.
I lived my life, I did my best,
An example Ive tried to be,
So now Ive taken that step beyond and set my spirit free.
I didnt want to go at first,
I fought with all my might,
But something seemed to draw me to a heavenly light.
Ill not be far, I promise that,
And hope youll always know,
That my spirit will be close to you
Whenever you may go.
Thank you all for loving me,
You know I love you too.
Thats why it was so hard
To end this life with you. So dry your tears, Dont be sad and let me hear you say,
You all look forward to joining me
In Heaven one sweet day.
Dad, we love you dearly and will miss you tremendously.
