Robert John French

Robert John French was born on April 25, 1923 in Moscow, Idaho, to Lilly Virlee Hurt and Thomas William French.
He passed away on Aug. 7, 2007 in Marysville, Wash.
After graduating from High School he joined the Canadian Army in British Columbia where he met and married Jeanne Tremblay. He was a member of the Marysville Senior Center and Kellogg Marsh Grange.
He leaves behind five children, Virlee Garmon, of Marysville, Terrence French, of Chilliwack, B.C., Ramona French, of Bellingham, Wash., Debra Warman, of Gibson, B.C,. and Lilly Scarfe, of Cloverdale, B.C.; sisters, Mable Wheeler, of Colfax, Wash, Lillian Gibbs, of Spokane, Wash., Jenny Welerthert, of Montana and Mary Eaton, of Spokane; brother, James Benjamin French, of Deer Park, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and extended family from his marriage to Vivian Lagard, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Caroline, Molly, Maude, Frances and Edith; and brothers, Walter, Richard, Daniel and Roy.
He will be loved and remembered by family and many friends.
A memorial will be held from 1 – 3 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Ken Baxter Senior Community Center, 514 Delta Ave, Marysville.
