Rose R. Parker was born September 2, 1923 in Los Angeles, California to parents Louis B. and Ruth B. Coronado. She passed away on April 7, 2011 in Everett, Washington at age 87. Throughout her life, Rose enjoyed numerous activities with her family and friends, but by far her favorites were gardening and sewing. Rose is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Ruth and her brother, Louis Coronado, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Gloria Murray and her son Michael (Marlene) Adams; sister Gloria Fishbeck; five grandchildren Terri and husband Les Strauss, John Struder, Matthew and Michelle Adams, and Aaron Libby; two great-grandchildren Terian (Rick) Wilson and Jeffrey (Nuvia) Strauss and one great-great grandchild, Jeffrey M. Strauss, Jr.; niece Phyllis, nephews Joe and Jay and many great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Rose’s Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett with a reception to follow the service. A very special thank you to Lee and Art for always being there for her; and to a great bunch of Res-Care, care givers, Kathy, Lynn, Ida, Shawna and Patti, and also the outstanding people with Hospice.
