Stanley Hillard Noland, 82, passed away Nov. 13, 2006, in Marysville, Wash.
He was born to Grady and Hermie Noland on May 23, 1924, in Darrington, Wash.
Stanley served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine during World War II and then went on to complete 37 years as Engineering Officer in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his sons, Ron Noland and Robert Noland, both of Marysville and David Noland, of Kennewick, Wash.; his daughter, Jeanette Ball, of Kennewick; his sisters, Virginia Kent and Elizabeth Dotson, both of Everett; and many friends and other relatives.
A viewing was held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Avenue, Arlington, Wash. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Darrington Cemetery, 1234 S.R. 530, Darrington.
