Violet C. Olson

Violet C. Olson passed on to her
Heavenly Reward on October 25, 2008
in Centralia, Washington. She was born
in Ryder, North Dakota on July 6, 1918
to Alma and Theodore Mortenson, the
seventh of ten children.
A long time member of the Nazarene
Church she will be remembered for her
young and caring spirit, determination,
and as a tireless worker. She was a
woman of strong conviction, and deeply
committed to her Christian faith and
family.
Mrs. Olson was a person of vision and
accomplishment. She and her husband, George, founded the Evergreen
Homes for Boys in Bothell and Arlington, Washington. Her legacy will
continue through her impact on the many lives she touched.
Mrs. Olson was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George
Olson. She is survived by her children; George (Judy) of Bellevue,
WA, Aarlie (Larry) of Centralia, WA, Glenn of Tacoma, WA, Gene
(Jolanta) of Mesa, AZ and Pat (Larry) of Bellevue, WA.; 10 grandchildren
and 8 great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
