Violet Gramma Dear

Violet Gramma Dear went into the loving arms of her Lord peacefully while at home in the loving arms of her family on Jan. 8, 2008.
Violet was born June 12, 1911, in Everett, Wash., as a miracle baby. Her family was poor in riches but loved Christ and brought her up to love Jesus.
Violet found romance by placing an ad in The Lonely Hearts Club.
After writing letters for two and a half months, she met Leonard Troxell face to face on May 29, 1934, and they were married three days later. They were married until he went to be with the Lord on March 29, 1974.
Violet was a devoted wife, mother, Gramma Dear, Great-Gramma Dear, and Great-Great-Gramma Dear.
Violet was a hard worker, picking hops and working in Yakima orchards when she was a young bride. During WWII, she worked in the shipyards.
Violet loved to garden, cook-family night every Friday, sew quilts and baby blankets, which have been sent all over the world.
She loved wrestling, to go for rides in the country, her soap Y & R, but most of all she loved her Jesus Christ, and her granddaughters.
She is survived by her son, Paul and daughter-in-law, Patricia; her loving abd devoted granddaughters, Terri (Schramm), Debra (Wagner), Paula (Kleisath), and Cheryl (McDanold); grandsons, Dave, Rob, Darren, Randy, and DT; great-grandchildren, Amy, Nick, Aaron, Andy, Danielle, Brittnee, Kyle, Valorie, Bryan, Rebecca, Lance, Dylan, Tiffany, McKinzee, Kalina, and Dmitrij; great-great-granddaughters, Jazmyn, Dezirae, and Peyton; and many nieces and nephews, and friends of all ages.
Memorial service celebrating moving into her new mansion in heaven was held at 3 p.m., on Jan. 19, at Lake Stevens Assembly of God, 9805 31st Pl. NE, Lake Stevens, Wash.
Donations can me made, in lieu of flowers, in Gramma Dears name to Embracing Life 1523 10th St. Suite B, Marysville, WA 98270.
We want to thank our Lord for letting us have and love Gramma Dear for all these years and to thank Him for getting her mansion ready for her.
We love you Gramma Dear.
