Presumably, your life, liberty and property are once again safe since the Legislature is no longer in session, but dont bank on it.
The people have spoken. They decisively shot down Proposition No. 1, the ambitious and complex fix for Puget Sounds traffic woes. Granted, Prop. No. 1 was imperfect, but no more so than any other grandiose solution that might have been put before the voters. The best of plans will always be a compromise.
With Thanksgiving just eight days away, and Christmas a mere 41 days away, most of us are thinking about spending time with family and worrying about picking the right gift for those on our holiday shopping lists.
