Praise that some of those projects will help out Marysville and Arlington.

Praise to Arlington for continuing its Coaches vs. Cancer fund-raising event as the need is there.

Praise to Marysville Getchell roundballers for helping at the Marysville Food Bank. More teams need to do that kind of thing.

Praise to student leaders at MG showing the entire community at an MLK assembly that racism still does exist locally.

Praise that Snohomish County is looking at a law like Marysville’s that would make it easier to shut down drug and nuisance houses.

Praise to Arlington schools, which along with those in Marysville are encouraging diversity and equity.

Praise to Quil Ceda Village for going back to paper bags instead of plastic, which are not good for the environment.

Praise to Arlington for joining Marysville in having father-daughter dances. That bonding and those memories are so important.

Praise for Sno-Isle for so quickly opening a library in Smokey Point.

Praise to Marysville police for donating bicycles to Zambia.
