AHS preps homecoming events

From Monday, Oct. 14, to Friday, Oct. 18, Arlington High School will be participating in spirit week, in preparation for the homecoming football game and homecoming dance.

ARLINGTON — From Monday, Oct. 14, to Friday, Oct. 18, Arlington High School will be participating in spirit week, in preparation for the homecoming football game and homecoming dance.

Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is College Day, Wednesday is Western Day, Thursday is Hawaiian Day and Friday is a Color War, where freshman dress in black, sophomores dress in blue, juniors dress in yellow and seniors dress in white.

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Homecoming Parade will make its way down Olympic Avenue to First Street starting at 6 p.m., followed by a Pepination at Haller Middle School’s gym.

On Friday, Oct. 18, a chili potluck is scheduled to take place at John C. Larson Stadium at Arlington High School, starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by the homecoming football game where the Eagles take on the Monroe Bearcats at 7 p.m.

The homecoming dance is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 8 p.m.
