All 4 local girls wrestling teams compete at M-P (slide show)

MARYSVILLE – All four local high schools competed in a girls wrestling Scramble at Marysville-Pilchuck Wednesday.

Along with the host team, Arlington, Lakewood and Marysville Getchell also competed, along with Blaine, Meridian and Nooksack Valley.

At 110 pounds, two Arlington girls battled head to head. Vivian Potong ended up beating fellow Eagle Taylor Chapman 25-10.

In a match at 125 pounds, Kate Rosson of Arlington led 11-5 in the third round, but ended up being pinned with 36 seconds to go.

Hanna Crew of Arlington dominated her match at 130 pounds, pinning her opponent.

Also at 130 pounds, Lakewood’s Olivia Poulton won her match over Chelsea Goeden of M-P by pin.

Kylie Hinds of Arlington won her 140-pound match, pinning Marysville-Pilchuck’s Sadie Most.
