The Wesco conference announced its all-league players for the spring 2009 season and Arlington athletes were recognized for their achievements in six sports.
The softball team, who were runners up for the Wesco North title and finished the season 12-4, led the list for Arlington with seven players recognized by the conference. Players are selected to the team by a vote of the league’s coaches except in the case of track and field, in which athletes are selected by their performance at the conference championship meet.
