This is the first season that the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association has recognized girls wrestling as an official sport and they will have their own dual meets this year.
AHS features reigning state champion Jennifer Jayne and Amanda Bottini among the seven Lady Eagles on the team.
Byers describes Bottini as strong scary strong.
