A total of six players were selected to the all-league team based on voting from coaches one first-team selection, three second-team and two honorable mentions.
Senior Sam Welch received first-team honors and veteran coach Nathan Davis said she deserves all the recognition she gets.
She is an extremely tough, hard working kid who has really worked to develop her strength and skills, Davis said.
Senior twins Roxanne and Nicole Pederson and junior Andrea Parlin were honored with second-team selections.
Roxanne and Nicole have both had outstanding careers. It is very cool for them to finish their career with the second-team honor. She (Andrea) finished with 85 saves and five shutouts. She was one of our most valuable players, Davis added.
Sophomore Kristen Allen and freshman Jessica VanLoo were chosen as honorable mentions.
Kristen and Jessica both had great seasons as underclassmen. I think that their future is very bright. Both are very solid play making midfielders.
