Lynden clobbers both Lakewood teams

Lynden took it to both the boys and girls basketball teams from Lakewood Monday night.

The girls lost 66-16, while the boys lost 75-35, falling to 12-5, 7-3 in the Northwest Conference.

The visitors outscored the Cougars 24-8 in the second quarter and 21-3 in the third to win going away.

Jackson Schultz paced the Cougars with 9 points, and Alex Jensen added 8, Jared Taylor 7, Shae Dixon 5, and Kaiden Harrison and Spencer Neiffer scored 3 each.
