M-P baseballers lose, Arlington wins; MG netters get by Eagles (slide show)

MARYSVILLE

Baseball

Marysville-Pilchuck held a 7-6 lead after five innings, but visiting Everett tallied three in the sixth and went on to an 11-7 victory Friday.

Shortstop Jordan Justice again led M-P with a double and 2 RBI. He also scored twice. Catcher Daniel Kirkwood went 2-3 with an RBI.

Tennis

Marysville Getchell got by Arlington 4-3 Friday.

ARLINGTON

Baseball

A team that’s undefeated against a team that’s winless – sounds like a mismatch.

And it was as Arlington blanked Stanwood 10-0 Friday in six innings.

While Jacob Burkett was pitching a three-hitter, the Eagles smacked 12 hits. Camdon Anderson led the way going 3-for-4 with two doubles and 2 RBI. He also scored three times. Luke Green went 2-3 with a double and an RBI.

LAKEWOOD

Baseball

Sehome beat Lakewood 12-3 Friday.

Tennis

Sehome blanked the Cougars 7-0 Friday.
