Spring baseball jamboree set for April 17 at Arlington’s Quake Memorial Park

Baseball fans are being encouraged to check out a spring jamboree on Saturday, April 17. The Stilly Valley Little League is hosting a day at the ball park, with exhibition games, entertainment, concessions, raffles and an Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run competition at Bill Quake Memorial Park (18501 59th Avenue NE).

ARLINGTON — Baseball fans are being encouraged to check out a spring jamboree on Saturday, April 17.

The Stilly Valley Little League is hosting a day at the ball park, with exhibition games, entertainment, concessions, raffles and an Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run competition at Bill Quake Memorial Park (18501 59th Avenue NE).

The all-day event begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public. Pitch, hit and run competition takes place from noon to 2 p.m. Participants in the event have a chance to advance through four levels of competition, including team championships and Major League Baseball ball parks and the national finals at the 2010 MLB All-Star Game.

Boys and girls ages 7-14 are welcome to participate, but must provide age for verification.
