With three Stilly Valley teams bound for state all-star tournaments and two outside of a comfortable commute, the Little League teams and their families are holding fundraisers this weekend to help.

Starting at the Arlington Street Fair July 10-12, booths No. 413 and 415 will have face painting, cake walks and raffle prizes including Mariners tickets and gift baskets to benefit the Stilly Valley juniors baseball team, who competes in the Yakima tournament starting July 25. The majors softball team heads down to Vancouver for their tournament starting July 18.

The Stilly Valley juniors softball team will compete in Kirkland starting July 18. All three tournaments feed into regional tournaments and ultimately, the Little League World Series.

The Arlington Street Fair runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 10 and 11, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 12.

The teams will also be holding a car wash July 12 at the Smokey Point Wendy’s location, asking $5 per car and $10 for trucks, vans and SUVs.
