The end of an era

This is so sad. I started working for Bayliner boats in 1986, prior to them being bought by Brunswick. A lot of changes have taken place in our lives and in this company.

Who would have thought that there would come a day when you would drive down 59th Avenue and not see a parking lot full of cars knowing that fun was being built behind those fences. Many of us grew up in our careers in this company and the loss is particularly poignant for those of us who have weathered the changes and have seen the good times and the bad times in the marine industry.

The one constant is that it has always been the people that have made this a very special place to work. I left the company for six years and missed those people the entire time. I came back in 2003 and have loved every minute of it. It’s unbelievable that I’ll never have another chance to come back to the company I love. It’s over. Thank you for the memories Bayliner.
