2 from Marysville on motorcycle sent to Harborview

MARYSVILLE – A local woman and her passenger on a motorcycle were sent to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Aug. 25 when they were involved in a collision on I-5 at 4:04 p.m.

Amy Harrison, 42, was riding a 2016 Canam Roaster motorcycle northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 224 with passenger Brendan Wold, 42, also of Marysville.

A Washington State Patrol report says she made an unsafe lane change, causing a collision with the driver of a 2003 Toyota Prius behind her.

Both vehicles rolled and came to rest off the roadway.

Katherine McEldowney, 25, of Mount Vernon, the driver of the car, also was injured, and was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital.
