More than anything, though, DeLuca believes his shops parts and experience set it head and shoulders above many of its competitors.
We all have formal certification and training, DeLuca said. Every technician we send on site is at least a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. We cant afford to send anybody out who doesnt know exactly what theyre doing.
DeLuca likewise touted his stores inventory.
Were not a junk store, DeLuca said. What goers in the used bin is what Ive used myself. We have everything from processors to motherboards in stock, everything that you need to put together a system.
DeLuca acknowledged that many computer users are building their own machines, which is why he feels the need to stock parts that might not be available at large chains.
We know that youd have to drive a ways to get some of the stranger stuff otherwise, DeLuca said. Youre not going to find this stuff at Best Buy.
DeLuca also offers advice to those who are interested in assembling their own computers and components.
What we sell, more than anything, is expertise, DeLuca said. Our parts and labor are competitive with local rates and cheaper than national ones.
DeLuca points to building ones own computer as a means of saving money and avoiding unnecessary products.
I ask my customers, What do you want your computer to do? DeLuca said. I design it according to their needs, to give them the best price value. By putting it together themselves, theyre not loaded with junk or trial software.
Helping customers solve their problems is one of DeLucas greatest joys in his job.
I like to put together solutions for people, DeLuca said. Whether theyre businesses or individuals, I like to build solutions to meet their needs, and watch them grow.
