Virginia Marie Irvine passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2007, after a long battle with Alzheimers disease.
She was born Nov. 10, 1923, in Omaha, Neb.
Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother; her family meant everything to her. She made everyone feel special and loved. We will miss her deeply.
She leaves behind daughter, Sharon (Gary) Leque, of Stanwood, Wash.; son, Doug (Kathy) Schneider, of Camano Island, Wash.; daughter, Shirley (Larry) Steinman, of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; son Rons fiancee, Cathy, of Mt Vernon; grandchildren, Debbie, Mike (Chris), Carrie, Derek (Roberta), Tamera (Barry), Tracy (Jeff), Rhonda, Scott and Eric; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, John Novak, of Lincoln, Neb.; and special life-long friends, Calvin and June Husby and their extended family.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Joseph (Dode) Schneider, Ed Holman and Harvey Irvine; son, Ronald Schneider; parents, Pete Nielsen, Sr., Marie and John Novak; and brother, Pete Nielsen, Jr.
At her request, no services will be held.
Her family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at Ashley Gardens, Mt Vernon, for taking such wonderful care of her. You are all angels.
