Mary Inez Blanton Henry, 82, of Marysville, Wash., went home to be with Jesus, Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, with her family by her side.
She was one of seven children born to Albert and Rachel (Shuler) Blanton in Scotts Creek Township, N.C.
Mary was known for her hospitality, cooking, love for playing her organ and singing. She has been a member of Marysville First Baptist Church since 1958.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dallas Preston Henry; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Phyllis Henry, of Lynnwood, Wash.; and Ken and his wife, Charlene Henry, of Hubbard, Ore.; her grandchildren, Bobbi Poor, of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; Ray Henry, of Everett, Wash.; Russ Henry, of Marysville, Katie Schuster, of Justin, Texas; Michael and Jeffrey Henry, both of Hubbard; and a great-grand-daughter, Nicole Poor, of Newberg, Ore.; her six brothers and sisters, Louise Buchanan, Pauline Wyatt, Vergie Hansen, Edward, Earl and Earnest Blanton; and numerous other family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation was from 4 – 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. McBride, James Frederick Very Short No Pic High Arlington 26, 2007, at the Marysville First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett.
