ARLINGTON – Detectives are looking for witnesses to a fatal collision that involved two vehicles and resulted in the death of Austin Hooper, a 21- year-old Darrington man.
The incident occurred near the 30800 block of Swede Heaven Road around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, between a small, dark-colored Mazada 3 passenger vehicle and a dark-colored Ford F-250 pickup.
Cooper was driving the truck.
Detectives are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the driving behaviors of either vehicle prior to and up to the point of the collision, a sheriff’s news release says.
