ARLINGTON — The Arlington Library, located at 135 N. Washington Ave., has a full calendar of events scheduled for the month of March.
ARLINGTON — Arlington High School’s theatrical production of “Legally Blonde” has partnered with the Arlington Relay For Life to support the American Cancer Society through a special matinee performance on Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink to represent the Relay For Life’s fight against cancer, and also to coordinate with the fashions sported by Elle Woods, the lead character of the musical.
The attendees numbered roughly around a dozen, but the fallen veterans who were honored at the Arlington Cemetery on Feb. 17 numbered more than 100, and one living veteran was able to see proper tribute paid to his departed father’s military service.
ARLINGTON — Inspired by the estimated 125 children in the Arlington School District who have experienced homelessness within the past year alone, the Arlington United Church will serve as the site for a community forum on homelessness at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
ARLINGTON — For two weekends in March, 48 Arlington High School singers, dancers and actors will present “Legally Blonde” at the Byrnes Performing Art Center, based on Amanda Brown’s novel, the 2001 movie and the 2007-premiering musical of the same name.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department received a 911 call shortly after midnight on Friday, Feb. 15, from a concerned citizen who reported discovering a vandalism and resulting theft at the U.S. Post Office at 524 N. Olympic Ave. in Arlington. It appears that approximately 20 Post Office boxes were pried open in the lobby of the Arlington Post Office, and mail was scattered throughout this area.
