The third annual Lakewood Legacy Netbuster Tournament started off with a bang as 48 teams of different age groups and genders fought for the tournament’s championship. To start off the event, the Legacy teams were in full form; showing off their array of talent and tricks in many different age groups.

North County Fire/EMS responded to an approximately five-acre area wild land fire in the 29200 block of 68th Ave NW in the late afternoon on June 29.  First units on scene reported a fast moving fire in a heavily wooded area with some potential exposures to homes over time.  Over 15 Firefighters responded from North County Fire/EMS with two brush trucks

Comp plan hearing continues July 21

ARLINGTON — A steady stream of folks wandered down the avenue through the middle of the Arlington Street Fair over the weekend, checking out the more than 80 vendors and munching on kettle corn, sipping on sodas and exploring activities offered by nonprofit groups and getting free frisbees and notepads from realtors.

We are more barbaric then the vigilantes

Absolutely unfair is the sentence that non-violent “3-Strikers” are serving in prison after harming no one. There is no equal justice under this law. We have those spending their entire lives in expensive prisons who do not deserve this harsh punishment given the heinous crimes those who really do deserve it commit.
