In his autobiography Mein Kampf, Adolph Hitler stated, For when a people is not willing or able to fight for its existence Providence in its eternal justice has decreed that peoples end. In the late 1930s, Hitler sensed the weakness and equivocation of the great European nations and knew that, if he moved with deceit and swift resolve, he would have a chance to crush Europe. It was, in the end, a close thing because Europeans had become complacent.
History teaches us many things. We are all familiar with the adage Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it. This is where we are today, just like 1939, but with nukes and a far greater international dependency. Too many Americans forget that because of technology today, there is far too much at stake. The world has changed too dramatically to fail to act when we should.
We, as a nation, are doomed unless we fill ourselves with a terrible resolve to stand up to fanatic nations such as Iran and Syria. That means attack them if they will not back down on nuclear weapons and hit them with everything we have. If Iran mines the Straits of Hormuz and the oil stops flowing, if the government of Pakistan falls and its nukes are dispersed to fanatics around the world, if any of so many things that can happen because these nut-cakes see us as weak then youll wish youd stood up with us old-fashioned Freedom isnt free people. Youll know its too late when your lights go out, the heat shuts off, the gas station is closed, the ATM wont give and your social security check doesnt come.Think about it, it really will happen if we arent willing to fight and sacrifice to prevail over fanaticism.
