ARLINGTON — A local Christian singer/songwriter will soon be performing a holiday concert at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center.

Marysville resident David Harsh is scheduled to take to the stage for a free concert from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The concert is sponsored by a group of eight Arlington-based Christian churches, said Pastor Rick Long of Atonement Free Lutheran Church.

“David is a very personable entertainer who draws other people into his music,” Long said. “It’s just a fun, enjoyable and inspirational time.”

Harsh, known by some of his fans for using his hands and feet to play two guitars at once, typically involves the audience and encourages them to sing along during his concerts, Long said.

Long said he saw Harsh during one of his regular concerts about a year and half ago and was interested in booking him.

“We tried to get him last year but the timeline was too short,” Long said.
