Arlington Police seeking person of interest in suspicious death

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest in a suspicious death that occurred on Saturday, June 30.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a suspicious death that occurred on Saturday, June 30.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. that day, Arlington Police and Fire personnel responded to a parking lot in the 16800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard for a report of a man down. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the man, 48-year-old Martin E. Pickett, was deceased. Pickett was a transient who frequented areas in and around Everett.

Arlington Police are seeking to speak with 52-year-old Nial G. Harris, who is believed to be one of the last people to see Pickett on the night of his death. Harris is also a transient who is known to frequent areas in and around Everett.

Harris is described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, and having grayish brown hair and hazel eyes.
