Arlington City Council considers property tax increase

After a public hearing on Nov. 5, members of the Arlington City Council indicated at a Nov. 13 workshop meeting that they were inclined to vote to increase the city’s general property taxes, by the allowable 1 percent in 2013, during their next regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 19. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be in the City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third Street.
