ARLINGTON — The Trafton Community Center is serving as the site for a community rummage sale fundraiser on Saturday, May 4, starting at 9 a.m.

The Trafton Community Center has taken in donations of gently used items, and its proceeds will benefit monthly senior adult luncheons and community food bank programs, both of which are free services that are part of the Oso and Trafton Community Co-Op.

The Community Co-Op was started last year by the Oso Community Chapel, and its goal is to provide low- to no-cost community support programs at the Trafton Community Center and the Oso Community Chapel. These programs have included music lessons, a fall festival, square dances, the Trafton Centennial, food and clothing distribution events, knitting classes and more.

The Trafton Community Center is located at the former Trafton School house, at the corner of Jim Creek Road and State Route 530.
