Kinnamon represents Community Transit on the Snohomish County Tourism Bureaus Board of Directors. Bravo is on staff at the tourism bureau, and Dollarhide and Elmquist are volunteers who offer information about Snohomish County at the new VIC located at 3710 168th St. NE, in the Smokey Point community of Arlington. The VIC shares an office space with the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce. Our visitor count is up to 70 per week, but its not quite where it was before we closed the VIC at the Stanwood exit, Bravo said. Countywide, VICs serve 200 visitors a week. The VIC now has signs on I-5 and 172nd Street, but that one is covered by a tree. We might need one more sign at 168th Street so visitors know where to turn left, Bravo added.
