Woman gives up after barricading herself in home after allegedly stabbing boyfriend

STANWOOD – A 31-year-old woman gave up to authorities without incident at about 10 a.m. April 16 after barricading herself in a motorhome at the 20000 block of Frank Waters Drive.

Earlier, she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times with a knife. The victim, a 56-year-old man, was conscious when he was transported to a local hospital.

The incident was reported around 4:45 a.m. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office personnel negotiated with the woman for hours, a sheriff’s news release says.
