Antonette Rae Mohs

On Oct. 23, 2006 Antonette (Toni) Rae Mohs obtained her wish, going home to be with our Lord and her dad. She fought the good fight and won.
She was born on Feb. 21, 1961 in Seattle, Wash. She attended St. Pius X Catholic School, Mountlake Terrace junior and senior high schools, and graduated in June, 1979. She played basketball, softball, and volleyball. She worked for Arctic Circle, Blue Cross and Seattle First Bank.
Antonette had many loves in her life. She drew beautiful artwork and cherished her pet and companion, Coho. She loved the sound of the pipes from a Harley Davidson. Often she said, There goes a Harley.
She spent hours playing computer Solitaire and Mahjongg. She was a generous gift-giver and volunteered her time at her many support groups. She created several pieces of artwork and enjoyed her exercises and water aerobics.
The Energizer Bunny, Toni kept going and going, and never gave up, until it was time to throw in the towel. Through her lifetime of pain and suffering, she never complained, and always had the most beautiful smile on her face; she was hilarious. She made herself laugh from an internal happiness.
Tonis inner strength was incredible. She was very special person, an inspiration to all. Many friends refer of Toni as a Miracle Child. Toni was a blessing and gift to each of us, a gift to life. She is our daughter, our sister, our hero, our friend and our biggest fan.
Toni is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Mohs; sisters Patty, Wossie, Katie and Jackie (Lew); brothers Michael, Ed (Donna), Chris, David (Kim), Jeff, and Joe (Stacy); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Raymond E. Mohs.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of the Peter Najar family at Bank of America. Our family wishes to thank all for their prayers, gracious generosity, love and support with special thanks to the multitude of doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff who have taken care of Toni over her many years. Thank you.
A Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 am, Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mountlake Terrace, Wash.
