Charles Keith Butch Johnson, born June 26, 1942, in Wallace, Idaho, died Oct. 27, 2006.
He was the second of three children bore by Delmer and Donna Johnson.
Chuck attended Edmonds high school graduating with the class of 1961, where he met his Kathy, his wife of 15 years. He started a family with two beloved children, Eric Johnson and Carey Johnson, whom he cared for and loved throughout his life.
After attending college, he worked for Snohomish County PUD for 14 years before starting his own business in the automotive service in the Renton/Kent area and then again in Mukilteo, Wash., with his sister and brother in-law.
Chuck resided in Marysville, Wash., for the last 22 years. He was the sole caretaker of his father for four years, and his mother for the last seven years. His family was very grateful for his dedication, caring nature and the love he gave until his death. Chuck will always be remembered for giving all of himself for his family. He enjoyed aircraft of all vintages, reading, history, cooking and camping with family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his son, Eric Johnson; daughter, Carey Johnson; mother, Donna Johnson; sister, Marlys James; brother, Douglas Johnson; and his two grandchildren, Tyler Johnson and Kaitlyn Johnson. Chuck was loved by all of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at the Wicklow Condominiums Clubhouse, 8405 55th Ave. NE, Marysville. Arrangements were under the direction of the Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville.
