Grover Mike Little Jr., of Marysville, Wash., died Oct. 29, 2006. He was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Wenatchee, Wash.
Mike attended school in Edmonds, Wash. He joined the Air Force in 1951. He was an Air Force Police Officer, and trained the K-9 Unit.
He married Louise Little on June 2, 1969.
Mike was employed at Arnsteins Mens Store in Seattle, Wash., for many years. They then bought the Plaza Broiler in Seattle, and then The Little Store in Mt. Vernon, Wash. He then retired from Village Ace Hardware.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Michael Little Sr., and his stepfather, Sherman Pinson.
Mike leaves behind his mother, Betty Pinson; his ex-wife, Louise Little; four children, Mark Little, Julie Taie, Renee Little (Kelly) Muma and Chris Little; three grandchildren, Jesse Taie, Kyle Taie and Blaine Muma; two great-grandchildren and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 12, at The Moose Lodge, 813 S. First St., Mt. Vernon.
