James Harry Harter

Jim Harter, 62, of Stanwood, Wash., died suddenly of a apparent heart attack on July 28, 2007.
Jim was born July 13, 1945, in Seattle, Wash.
Jim, a Snohomish resident for over 30 years, will be remembered for his ability to live life to the fullest.
Jim enjoyed camping, fishing and anything to do with racing cars. He still holds many records at the Monroe Speedway. Above all else he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Logan and Dottie Harter; brother, Gary Harter; two sons, Bryan Harter and Ty Harter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy (soulmate); one son, Jeff Harter; two daughters and their husbands, Shannon and Reece Toenyan and Reggie and Sean Mills. His four grandchildren will be missing their Grandpa Budda as they called him. He will be missed by his best friend, Skip Johnson; his racing buddies at Vy and Glenns; and his friends at the Eagles club whom he loved and enjoyed. He is also survived by his two sisters, Judy Corpuz and Georgia Hammond; two brothers, Mike and Johnny Harter; and numerous nephews and nieces.
We will be celebrating Jimmys life starting at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at the Stanwood Eagles.
