Linda Lucille Rieken, 57, and Ken Daniel Rieken, 57, of Arlington, Washington died within a week of each other, Linda on Dec. 27, 2006 of cancer, and Ken on Jan. 2, 2007 of a stroke.
Linda was born to Leo and Lillian Ledbetter Oct. 30, 1949 in Seattle, Wash. Ken was born to Fred and Barbara Rieken on May 22, 1949 in Kellogg, Idaho.
Linda spent her career working for Boeing and Ken worked for Burlington Northern Railroad. Linda and Ken were loving parents and grandparents. Each had faith in Jesus Christ and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Linda and Ken were preceded in death by parents, Leo Ledbetter, Fred Rieken; siblings, Lawrence Ledbetter and Luther Ledbetter.
Surviving them are parents, Lillian Ledbetter, of Arlington, Barbara Rieken of Yakima, Wash.; children, Adina Knoche, of Arlington, Brent Rieken, of Yakima, Jason Rieken, of Arlington, Jeremy Rieken, of Alger, Wash.; siblings, Lloyd Ledbetter, of Arlington, Les Ledbetter, of Arlington, Karen Williams, of Yakima, David Rieken, of Puyallup, Wash.; and grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Angela, Daniel, Chayce and Devon.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Arlington Free Methodist Church.
