Lyle Irving Lindquist

Lyle Irving Lindquist, 70, a longtime Quincy-George resident passed away at his home on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, following an extended illness. He was born on July 22, 1937, to Carl Magnus and Dorothy Rosemond (Hart) Lindquist at Arlington, Wash. Lyle attended school and graduated from Arlington High School in 1956.
He was employed in the Arlington area working as a farmer and dairyman he also worked at a shake mill and lumber mill.
Lyle married Rena L. Webb at Arlington on Nov. 1, 1957. They moved to the Quincy-George area in 1970 where they owned and operated a dairy farm until retiring in 2000.
He was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Quincy, Wash.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Rena Lindquist of Quincy; children, Richard and Tammy Lindquist of Selah, Neil Lindquist of Quincy, Loren and Velenti Lindquist of Vancouver, Rene and Joel Hale of Ephrata and John and Judy Lindquist of Quincy; brother, Gary and Kathie Lindquist of Marysville, Wash.; sisters, Sharon Poindexter of Marysville, Marie and George Lantz and Carmel Sole of Arlington; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
The family received visitors in the Relief Society Room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quincy from 10 – 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007. Funeral services followed at 11 a.m., concluding services and interment were held at noon on Friday, Dec. 7, at Cyprus Lawn Cemetery, Everett, Wash.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scharbachs Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy.
